About the Event: 14Y and The Jewish Theater Circle present a very special evening honoring Women’s History month featuring an intimate conversation with Ruth Messinger followed by live music.
A leading voice on immigration rights, Messinger will discuss the role of Jewish women activists past and present and what we can do to support immigrants today.
Musical performances will include compositions by Adam Feder, Hazzan of the Shul of New York and maestro of the Shul Band; singing by Rabbi Jill Hausman of the Actors’ Temple; and selections from “A Bintel Brief” by composer Leslie Steinweiss.
