About the Event: Members of the D/deaf, Hard of Hearing, and ASL communities are invited to experience Blanche Lazzell: Becoming an American Modernist on special tours led by a Museum Educator with American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation provided by Inclusive Communication Services.
Blanche Lazzell: Becoming an American Modernist surveys the pioneering artist’s lifelong pursuit of translating Modernism into an American art form and celebrates her largely unsung achievements in championing abstraction in the United States through painting and printmaking.
Program participation is free and held at the Albany Institute of History & Art. Space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
