Drag Story Hour for Neurodiverse Kids Event With Accessibility In New York

DRAG STORY HOUR FOR NEURODIVERSE KIDS

by Line Up The Books & Drag Queen Story Hour NYC

Storytime with local drag performers, adapted to be more accessible to kids with autism and other disabilities.

Drag Story Hour is just what it sounds like—drag artists reading stories to children in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DSH NYC captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. And because drag artists are professional, eye-catching performers, they are also the perfect ambassadors for helping kids to discover the magic of reading!

Children with disabilities are welcome at any DSH NYC event, but DSH for Neurodiverse Kids has the needs of children with autism and other disabilities in mind by design. Read more about what makes these events accessible at www.lineupthebooks.com/dqsh.
