Additional Accessibility:
Closed Captioning via GalaPro: November 24th – December 8th
GalaPro (free app available for download on personal smartphones or tablets) is a closed captioning service that provides real time translation for audience members and can be used to read captions for all of our shows, at any performance after opening night.
Instructions for how to use GalaPro can be found here. There are also tablets available for check out at the concessions stand, photo ID required.
Patrons wanting to access GalaPro on their personal devices should still visit Accessibility Services before the show, because they may need assistance with accessing the correct Wifi network (GalaPro_Playwrights) and password (galapro1).
This service is being provided, in part, by a grant from NYSCA/TDF TAP Plus.
ALDs: November 19th – December 8th
Radio Frequency assistive listening systems are available at no charge at every performance and can be checked out from the Accessibility Assistants.
These devices are available in both our Mainstage and Peter Jay Sharp Theaters for every performance, per ADA requirements and are compatible with t-coil enabled hearing aids and implants.
Headphones for these devices will be provided by the theater, but patrons are also welcome to bring their personal headphones from home should they prefer. If any issues arise with the listening device during the performance, audience members should visit the Accessibility Assistants who will be able to assist them.
