Summary
Background
Noel first became interested in American Sign Language (ASL) in elementary school when she met her first friend who happened to be Deaf. This friendship, her love for sign language, and the culture led her to obtaining an ADA Coordinators’ Training Certification Program from University of Missouri.
While in college, Noel worked as a teacher assistant at a local school for the Deaf and spent her free time volunteering with organizations such as HEARD and the DeafBlind Camp in Maryland.
Now, partnered with ICS, Noel is determined to make New York even more accessible for the Deaf, Blind, and non-English speaking!
