Interrupting Harm Without Abandonment

Teal promotional poster reading “Interrupting Harm Without Abandonment, November 9, 5–7 PM PT | 8–10 PM ET, facilitated by Vanessa Rochelle Lewis.” A smiling Black woman with short natural hair, gold earrings, and a purple top stands among large painted orange and pink flowers with small golden blossoms. A pink banner reads “Register: bit.ly/InterruptingHarm,” and fine print notes the workshop is in English with live ASL and Spanish interpretation plus automated Zoom captions, and a recording is provided to all registrants.

This workshop is about learning how to stay in intimate relationship with our values and our beloveds, when harm, conflict, or misalignment shows up. Together, we'll explore how trauma and nervous system responses shape behavior, and how to have honest, compassionate conversations that invite real talk and opportunities for reflection and accountability without abandoning care.

Participants will learn grounding tools, communication strategies, and practice real-life scenarios so they can show up with clarity and confidence when it matters most.
