Looking to promote your accessible event? Please review our policy for full transparency. Once you’re ready, submit your event details through the Event Promotion Form. You’ll receive a confirmation email when your event is published.
Eligibility: In order for your event to be listed on our Accessible Event Calendar, the event must meet the following criteria:
- The event must be open to the public, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or political affiliation.
- The event must readily provide one or more of the following accessibility accommodations:
- Sign Language Interpreters
- Live Captioning
- Audio Description
- Multilingual Interpreting
- Accessibility accommodations must be scheduled and confirmed for the date(s) shared on the form.
- The event must have a designated point of contact for any questions related to the accessibility accommodations.
Event Details: The Event Promotion Form ensures a consistent and detailed experience for all accessible events listed on our calendar. Thank you for taking the time to complete it! Please note that your event description should focus solely on the event and its hosting organization. It may not promote third parties, including but not limited to event planning companies, catering services, interpreting agencies, sponsors, or other affiliates.
Featured Image: A picture is worth a thousand words! While it’s an extra step, attaching a featured image is required for our calendar. Preferred dimensions are 1200px by 628px. If resizing is needed, you can easily adjust your image using a free Canva account.
Donation: We kindly request a minimum $10 donation per calendar event. Your contribution supports our community accessibility initiative, ICS C.A.R.E.S., enabling us to provide pro bono and low-cost accessibility services for organizations with limited budgets. Thank you for helping us create more inclusive and accessible communities!
