Tiresias Presents New Weird Future: A Work In Process

Five performers in draped, textured robes under dramatic blue and purple stage lighting. The central figure sits wearing a dark robe with a pink sash and holds an ornate mask with a feathered crest, while surrounding performers sing and gesture.

Tiresias Presents New Weird Future: A Work In Process is a speculative eco-opera and puppet pageant-in-process that imagines futures of multispecies flourishing in the ruins of the Anthropocene. A collective act of radical queer defiance against apathetic submission to climate apocalypse, New Weird Future promises utopian visions of eclectic, non-innocent entanglements on Future Earth.
